Plum Clubhouse is now available online. This is the mapping part of Plum Caddy our mapping and scoring for golf iPhone application. Plum Clubhouse has a golf course construction kit that allows you to draw a template over a google map and save it. This template can then be downloaded to Plum Caddy on your iPhone to use as a real gps accurate map. It is quick and accurate because it does not require using the gps on the iPhone. The iPhone gps takes 30 secs to locate you and is 10-17 meter margin of error. This was neither fast enough nor accurate enough for Ben our programmer who has found another way that gives instantaneous range finding accurate to 5 meters. We are very proud of his achievement.

Plum Clubhouse is available now to create maps of any course in the world (if they don’t already exist). The new Plum Caddy will be uploaded to Apple this week and should be available when they release it.

Plum Caddy/Clubhouse provide a revolution in golf information for the iPhone user.

Its waiting on Apple to put it up. Lots of great new features. The main one being that we figured out how to make the server 40x faster. It really is the best audio application for the iPhone and more is coming…

After getting out our first two apps for the iPhone Plum Caddy and Plum Record we thought it was time to take a deep breath. We got to have that deep breath and now the whirlwind of activity continues.

This means there will be a new Plum Caddy and the new Plum Clubhouse shortly and we think you will really enjoy them. We hope to put up a video that will display their abilities in depth. The reason we are doing Plum Caddy is that the iPhone will change golf forever.

If it think the website is not high on our priority list you are right. We are focused on iPhone application developement and the connections to web applications. The iTunes App Store is where the public focuses to find and learn about apps but we will be putting more attention on this website soon.

These iPhone add a new dimension to integration to the web and it is very exciting. We now have more people working here and are also helping other companies and individuals develop for the iPhone.
